PJ Hamilton Short Stories

Stories That Linger

Short stories rooted in memory, resilience, heartbreak, humor, and the quiet moments that stay with us long after they pass.

PJ Hamilton short stories

Some stories arrive loudly. Others unfold quietly, like memories you didn’t realize you still carried.

These short stories are reflections on ordinary moments, unexpected grace, humor, heartbreak, resilience, and the beautifully imperfect nature of being human.

Rooted in lived experience, they are written to invite pause, connection, and recognition. You may see yourself here. You may remember someone you once loved. You may simply find a moment worth staying with.

A Note from PJ

Why These Stories Exist

Storytelling has always been one of the ways I make meaning, of honoring the people, moments, and quiet lessons that shape a life.

Not every truth arrives with fanfare. Not every turning point looks dramatic. Sometimes meaning lives in the smallest moments: a passing comment, an unexpected kindness, a memory that refuses to fade.

These stories are my way of preserving those moments, and perhaps offering you a place to recognize something of your own.

What Lives Inside These Stories

Across this collection, you’ll find stories shaped by dignity, survival, faith, family, longing, wit, tenderness, and the strange beauty of becoming.

Some may make you smile. Some may sting a little. Some may simply sit beside you for a while. That is enough.

“You may simply find a moment worth staying with.”
